How to Apply: - Candidates are required to apply ONLINE through website http://www.ccmb.res.in followed by sending hard copy of online application along with mark sheets, certificates, fee receipt etc.. The candidate must sign the computer generated application while sending the hardcopy of application. Candidates are required to send the application along with all the attested copies of certificates to the Recruitment Section, CSIR, Uppal Road, Habsiguda, Hyderabad-500007, Telangana.

How to Crack the Exam

Candidates are required to clear written examination and typing test for the final selection. Written Examination consists of two papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is based on Mental Ability Test and the numbers of Questions are 100. Each Question carries 2 marks for every correct answer and there will be no negative marks in this paper. Mental Ability Test consisting of General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Problem Solving, Situational Judgement etc and Time allotted for this test is 90 minutes.

Paper 2 will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure minimum marks in the Paper 1.

Paper 2 contains 100 questions in which 50 are from General Awareness and 50 questions are from English Language. There will be 3 marks for every correct answer and one negative mark for every wrong answer.

Proficiency Test is computer typing speed using computer. Candidate should have English typing speed of 35 w.p.m or Hindi typing speed of 30 w.p.m and time allowed for this test is 10 minutes.

The final list will be prepared only on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Paper 2. The merit list will only have those candidates who have qualified the proficiency test in computer typing.
